About Liza Deyrmenjian

Liza Deyrmenjian, a native of Vancouver, started her career in the garment manufacturing business. At nineteen Liza opened Arteenelle Designs Incorporated, a fashion design studio based in Vancouver. Utilizing her business sense and her creative talent, Arteenelle grew into a 9,000 square foot factory. Arteenelle manufactured products domestically for leading companies such as UMBRO, INTRAWEST RESORTS, LEDCOR, WEST BEACH, and COSTCO, along with many other brand labels. Liza's also designed and sold her own missy line, appropriately named GO GIRL.

By 1995, Arteenelle Designs had grown into a full-fledged garment manufacturing facility with over 45 employees. While building Arteenelle Designs- Liza also wardrobe consulted for several TV commercials and Feature Films.

In 1998 Liza sold her company, took a year off and then started Noccona Manufacturing Services.

Noccona manufactured garments for the US. Labels such as LONDON FOG, MARMOT, SIERRA DESIGNS, HORNY TOAD and also COSTCO. Within one year Noccona had posted sales of over one million dollars and by the end of the second year its gross sales had grown to over three million dollars.

In 2003 Liza sold Noccona and moved to New York City to pursue other interests, but fashion kept following her around. In 2005 Liza was asked to give a lecture on domestic production - the topic- skills you need to know to start your own fashion business in the city you live. The response from attendees was phenomenal.

Realizing design schools don't give the actual HOW-TO education which all designers and or entrepreneurs need, Liza put together a 2 Day course together which fills that gap and teaches all the things high priced fashion Institutes leave out. This course gives any entrepreneur a leading advantage to start their own successful business the fact that It Is taught by Liza- someone who did it, does it and loves to show how it is done resonates with all who attend.

"Everything in life is hard if you don't know where to start- once you have the RIGHT Information the doing is easy and strangely enough…a hell of a good time." Liza Deyrmenjian

Liza's honest, straight forward approach, peppered with true life tales from the fashion underground make starting your own business seem DO-ABLE. Learn all the things Fashion schools can't and won't teach you, how to start your business, create your label and get it into the retail market. "Do you think all of the top designers know how to sew? Get over it and get started!" Liza D
